We understand the importance of our impact on the environment. We strive to do the right thing all the time as it impacts our world. We buy no products from China, ship no products from over-seas. Everything we we sell is manufactured here in the USA. When possible, we use local manufacturers. We build our shutters right here in Phoenix, as well as our drapery and many other window treatments, avoiding when possible putting transportation pollutants into our air.

We build a GREEN SHUTTER! That’s right. We use sustainable basswood from the Northeast U.S. These shutters are manufactured here in Arizona, not shipped on a barge from China. They are finished with a 100% natural basecoat, followed by two coats of natural paint or stain. The finishes are made from soy and emits absolutely no indoor pollutants. We also have an LEED certified roller shade material that you may like and appreciate.

Saving energy is the right thing to do. Since most of your air-conditioned air escapes right out the window, we’ve got a lot of ways to insulate those windows while doing it fashionably. Let us start by installing a clear solar window film by Lumar that will take the heat down by about half and then finish it off with the new, very fashionable, Hunter Douglas Architella “cell within a cell” shade adding additional R values (and a lot of style) to your windows.
